I have 15 years of direct real estate sales experience in Northern Virginia and the Greater Washington, D.C. area.
I have an extensive financial background, having been a mortgage trader and salesperson on Wall Street prior to becoming involved in direct real estate sales. I have an MBA and a CFA designation (Chartered Financial Analyst), and this combination of experience and education is of major benefit to buyers and sellers in my market, particularly in higher-priced home sales.
But more important than my knowledge, experience, and education is the following:
- I believe in going full throttle at all times. However, I believe in taking this much further, and specialize in all-out professional promotion on your behalf at all times. Or as a seller of a million dollar + home said,"If you are looking for a seasoned professional who understands how to sell a home in the digital economy, then Ray Wedell is your agent. Ray augmented traditional tools with an array of on-line resources. Other well-known agents doggedly resisted adapting to technological change."
- I believe that any goal we set should be achievable and exceeded when possible. "I was looking for an agent that would work hard to get the highest price possible for my home, not just sell it quickly. Ray recommended pricing aggressively based on current market conditions, while others recommended a lower price to get a quicker sale. We received 2, above-the-higher-listing-price offers one day after the first Open House (which attracted over 40 people thanks to Ray' aggressive advertising). I am happy and the buyers are happy!"
